Kathak is one of eight Indian classical dance forms that originated in Northern India in the 4th century BC. Kathak is characterized by its graceful motions and places heavy attention on the motion of the seemingly smaller movements of the body, eye movements and placement, head movement and more.

Bollywood grew in popularity in the early 20th century with the rise of Indian cinema. The color, music, and dances in the famous Bollywood movies create a very moving story. The moods can range from the traditional Indian classical dance to upbeat, energized movements that seamlessly follow the buoyant music.
